Transfer to Arusha airport for your scheduled flight to Kigoma arrive at Kigoma airport. Pick up on arrival and transfer to Ujiji Town, visit Dr. Livingstone memorial center before transfer to Kibirizi port for your boat to Gombe. this is the beginning of our 3 days Chimpanzee Trekking in Tanzania tour.
Pick up on arrival and transfer to the camp, 14h00 hot lunches at the camp. Afterwards proceed for Chimpanzee tracking in the forest. Gombe Stream’s main attraction is obviously the chimpanzee families that live protected in the park’s boundaries.
Visitors take walks deep into the forest to observe and sit with the extraordinary primates for an entire morning. Apart from chimpanzee viewing, many other species of primates live in Gombe Stream’s tropical forests. Val vet and Columbus monkeys, baboons, forest pigs and dik dik inhabit the dense forest and a wide variety of tropical birdlife. Dinner and overnight.
One of the long waited day of Chimpanzee Trekking in Tanzania tour. Drive to the park quarters for briefing at 8:00 am after you will be attached with a game ranger who will move with you to trek this stubborn human cousins in the Forest. The trek takes between two to four hours in the forest.
In the afternoon go for hiking to Jane’s peak and visit Kakombe waterfalls. Dinner and overnight.
After our breakfast in Gombe Stream National Park drive to the airstrip for our flight back to Arusha. In Arusha, you will either choose to transfer to the airport for your flight back home, to the next destination or get dropped at any accommodation of your choice.
